Annual Update Subscription & Compatibility Policy

The update subscription is optional. Your software license remains valid indefinitely and is not canceled or restricted if you choose not to purchase or renew the annual subscription.

The update subscription is available for a term of one or two years. During the active subscription period, you are entitled to receive free updates for one licensed Product Properties Extension module.

You may choose between two subscription types: “Product Properties Extension only” or “Single license for every module.”

If you have purchased only the Product Properties Extension module, the “Product Properties Extension only” option is sufficient and fully covers your needs.

If you have purchased additional PS&More modules, you will need to expand your subscription to include all of them. In that case, please select the “Single license for every module” option.

An active update subscription ensures you always receive the latest versions of our software, including improvements and new features. The subscription also extends your technical support for the duration of the subscription term.

The update subscription is for the purchased software only and does not include updates for the theme, integration, customization, or any other activity that requires additional work.

To remain valid, the subscription must be continuous, and it can be renewed at any time. The subscription period begins on the date of the module purchase, not on the date the subscription itself is purchased.

The update subscription, like all PS&More software licenses, is valid for one production website only. It may not be shared, transferred, or used simultaneously on multiple websites.

The update subscription applies only to modules compatible with PrestaShop 1.7, 8, or 9. The update subscription does not include other versions of PrestaShop.

Each major PrestaShop version requires its own module license and subscription.

• A subscription purchased for PrestaShop 1.7 does not cover updates for PrestaShop 9.

• A subscription purchased for PrestaShop 1.7 can be used to update to PrestaShop 8.

• A subscription purchased for PrestaShop 8 can be used to update to PrestaShop 9.

• A subscription purchased for PrestaShop 9 does not cover earlier versions.

You cannot upgrade from one major PrestaShop version to another using an update subscription unless explicitly allowed above. A separate module license is required for each major PrestaShop version outside the permitted upgrade paths.

Allowed upgrade paths

• 1.7 → 8 ✔️ allowed

• 1.7 → 9 ❌ not allowed

• 8 → 9 ✔️ allowed
